<em>Herr Mannelig</em> (also known as <em>Bergatrollets frieri</em> "The Courting of the Mountain Troll") is a <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swedish_language" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(11, 0, 128); background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">Swedish</a> <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swedish_folk_music" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(11, 0, 128); background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">folk ballad</a> from the 19th century. I am wondering how well-known this character respectively the story is nowadays in Sweden.
