When someone fills out your tutoring contact form but still wants free lessons.
Okay.... so if you went to a tutor or teachers profile and clicked on 'contact teacher' and filled out the form, clearly you saw at the top of their profile that there's a price for lessons. How could you see this and think that a tutor or teacher would somehow make an exception for someone? The price is right near the 'contact teacher' button. I don't get it. And you selected 3+ lessons a week for 90 minutes each. You really think you'll get all of that for free?

I got this message the same day as I got a private message from another guy looking for a 'Serious relationship based on love and trust.'

Time to send Mr.FreeLesson guy to Mr.Love and Trust. Maybe they can build something beautiful together.

Well, Alice you could ask the guy who wants the free lessons if he’d cover over and clean your house and wash your car for free. At the very least they could offer to barter. I get asked all the time if I give free legal services and, of course, I say no. I did have a guy offer me a 1964 Ford Thunderbird in exchange for legal services. I wasn’t interested in a 64 T-Bird at the time.

Thank you Karl. I needed that laugh.
I'm sorry that you're going through it too Margherita.

There are crazies out there, as an Italki student, I think it is really odd and disrespectful for a student to ask for free lessons from a teacher, even if it is a passion it is still a job and if they are teaching they deserve to be paid.
