I love my cat, however I don't speak a word of Brown Tabby.

Hmm.. that’s difficult. I think you can love someone’s essence but you won’t be able to truly love them for their thoughts, ideas and opinions without communicating with them. That being said, I think there’s an energy between people that can be really strong and genuine despite not being able to communicate well verbally.
