Question about which app is being used here 😄

Hi guys, it's my first time using italki and i would like to book a spanish teacher but i can't send them message. I want to ask what's the tool you use here to video chat with the teacher because where i'm at, video calling apps like skype, are blocked. Thanks!

When you book a lesson, you can choose between the italki classroom, Skype and Google Hangouts but there are also teachers who offer classes via Zoom. Chinese teachers might offer classes via WeChat.

When you go to a teacher profile, you'll find a "contact teacher" button right under "book now". You could also switch to the teacher's user profile and send them a private message to inquire which platform they use for their classes.

There's usually more than one option, but I think it depends on what each tutor offers. If skype isn't an option, Italki also has its own "italki classroom" that you can connect to via the browser
