Do you mean online or in real life? First you need to have something in common and as long as you can give and take, then you'll have no problem finding friends.

It depends on who you are and where you are. I'm not naturally very outgoing, but I'm not socially cut off. I can make friends, but not as easily as some others. On the other hand, there were some people that I "clicked" with instantly and considered them a friend (though not a close friend) after a day or even less. As to where you are, some countries and some areas have cultural standards that will inhibit making friends speedily. Two of my friends moved from the southeastern coast of the U.S. to a major city. They made more friends in two months in the city than they did in two years on the coast.

I go with the saying that a real good friend is easy to make and difficult to keep!
