QQ on 64bit Linux? Technical question: Has anybody succeeded to run QQ on 64bit Linux? I am able to install and run the 32bit version just fine, but the login screen returns me a generic "Could not log you in." message. (In finest 中文, of course) And web.qq.com works just fine, so it's not my login data.

I see, thank you! It was also the impression I got. I guess if they weren't blocking all the other IM clients from connecting, the community would quickly have something running on Linux. Skype is making the same mistake (they don't support 汉字 on my system.. no way to fix this.) Now the only thing that's left is google+ (and web qq).

QQ never did good job on linux version. You could see that linux installer is even not on the main download page, and yet it's still 1.0beta. for many many years...? They seem to have ceased future support on that. Linux has large varieties of distribution, no wonder Tencent doesn't want bother to do that. They're very likely to abandon linux qq given web qq there, not to mention 64-bit qq. I was interested in playing around linux qq, not anymore...

Thank you. No, there is no 64bit version yet. I couldn't find much on this via google either, so I'm just hoping this is a more common issue here with the language people. :)
