It is joyful to see some kind people with their kind hearts but very painful to see some harsh people who want to force others to obey their rules and what they say.

What i learned is that , at the core, we human beings are the same despite the linguistic, cultural, ethnic, religious, ...differences. All these differences are superficial. It is possible for us to see the things beyound these superficial diversities. But unfortunately, majority of people are centred around these external part. They ignore the common inner core. The essense of human being. Interaction with people from different parts of the world helped me to reinforce this idea. Every moment the interaction proved that "At the core we are one". But unfortunately the mainstream social institutions, including media, try to say the oposit.

The country is an Arabian one. It is distant from Italy for culture, history, religion, language, climate... I would say distant for all. The person is far from me for age, culture, studies, interests, religion. Probably a person that in real life I would never had spoken to. But I found in this person an open mind, fairness and intelligence that allow me to speak frankly ranging over all topics. Moreover I thank this person for patience, calm, availability supporting me more than one time.

It's been quite nourishing, I enjoy learning about some interesting facts that seem quite rare to me. Some time ago, I was told something I've seen in movies as well, when you have a cake (I guess birthday cake) you give it to someone else to eat it from your hand.... to me that's supper weird... but it's fascinating (funny too). This is just to mention the least, but it's been quite a fun ride this language/culture exchange thing. I'm very glad <img title="Cool" src="http://www.italki.com/Scripts/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-cool.gif" alt="Cool" border="0" />

I would like to start from the far east. The country I want to mention is Japan. The world witnessed Japan face the catastrophic Tsunami and the Nuclear issues with utmost calm and composure.

Everybody seemed to know what to do at time of such a calamity. There are many lessons to be learnt from Japan. And the otherday I was reading an article about Japan I would like to share.

We all pray that may there be no more troubles for Japan :)
