I think freedom cannot be evaluated.

Well Many times it comes at a price when you have to achieve it...

Sometimes it comes for free...

So may or may not....BUT it always comes with responsibility :)

If you look through history you'd see freedom is always a front. A phony. A man can't be free until he doesn't bother to play tricks with his contemporary conditions, and frees himself from the cage that's defined by the times. I'm not saying he should be a transcendentalist or something. I'm saying he should enjoy himself beyond what's sheltered by what's given. I believe there are few people did that, and ChuangTzu was one of them. I hope someday you can see the gap, the secret tunnel throughout history outside which people are busy praising and worshipping freedoms. Heidegger turns to aesthetics, and I'm thinking about the art of narrative.

I was guessing you were from China before I verified it.

No matter if you're driving at a political/ideology topic, my recent realization is freedom is kind of a personal thing. I mean there's so much else left for you to concern about. I started to get disinterested into "freedom (of the press or so)" talks, I mean I didn't use to. I used to believe freedom is an absolute, essential to a people and all, kind of being an idealist. I mean I am still an idealist to some point.
