Spanish food!

What do you all think about Spanish food? If someone open ("abriese" I want to say) a Spanish food restaurant in your city, would you go?

I think Spanish food typical is very valued around the world. Paella, tortilla de patatas, jamón...

Oh, I wish there were more great Spanish restaurants in my town!  We used to have a Spanish-Caribbean place that was my favorite, called El Meson, but it has since closed.  Even their most basic dishes such as Arroz con Pollo were wonderful.  I never had a chance to eat paella there because it took an extra 45 minutes to cook and served a minimum of 6 people! We also have a tapas restaurant called Solera but I don't think it's very authentic.  There might even be some great places that I don't know about, but I don't know where to find them!

If you are experienced in making Spanish cuisine and want to open a restaurant, I would say go for it!  As long as you know how to make great food using great ingredients, and you can operate a restaurant efficiently (there is a very low profit margin in restaurants in the US so it is a difficult business), you can make a go of it!

I have never tried the paella but I have heard from people who have lived in spain that is very delicious, I love seafood and I imagine that many spanish dishes are related to seafood. Even though we speak the same language our food is very different, We build our food around rice but I have heard that you barely use rice, well except in the paella and you mostly eat vegetables and fish. I really like vegetables and fish, So I really would like to try spanish food

There IS a Spanish restaurant near my home. Here in Austin you would be hard-pressed to NOT find a restaurant with a particular cuisine. There is every kind of restaurant imaginable. So, if someone were to open a restaurant featuring Spanish cuisine, I definitely would go (and have). :D
