Alfredo
A video for Spanish language learners

I have been translating subtitles as a hobby for quite a few years now. But only from english to spanish. Now I've decided to try and do a translation from spanish to english. These subtitles are for a chilean tv show for kids called "31 minutos" ("31 minutes"). It's a tv show hosted entirely by puppets and it's popular not only among kids but also among people of all ages. If you have kids show it to them, they may find it amusing. :P

The video is meant for all spanish language learners.

The name of the song is "Yo nunca vi televisión porque es muy fome" ("I never watched tv because it's too boring"). Let know your thoughts on this.

*fome = a chilean word for boring.

I just used a couple of programs: Subtitle Workshop, Aegisub and Avidemux but it would take a long time to explain the whole process.

Awesome work, and very helpful. Methinks I'm going to have this song stuck in my head for awhile. Thank you!

I love it!  The video clip is adorable and insightful.  Your translation is seamless.  You must be bilingual and bi-cultural.
