I really like that cartoon. Marsha is really cute and the story always makes me laugh!
My son is almost eight now and he has always been hyper-active. A couple of years ago, when he began watching M&B, I asked him if Masha resembles anyone. And he answered me, smiling, that of course she did!) She reminded him himself)
Every time I watsh that great cartoon, I kind of see my son on a screen. Very similar!))

Yes my five year old daughter is a fan and it was one of the tools I used to encourage her to learn the language - not much actual spoken content in each episode though! Now she has moved on to her favourite Disney films with Russian dubbing or classic Soviet cartoons.
Masha resembles me my 5 years old son and it scares me.

OMG!! It's my favourite cartoon. Sometimes Masha is really stupid, but she tries to be useful and she's sweet) And Bear is a hero. He's the only one "man" with strong nerves I know)
Anyway, Masha and the bear is the best cartoon ever)
