would you choose getting born?
would you want to come?
I'm in a good mood now. and in this moment I say, yeah I would. I like discovery and experience new things.
As you know, there is a belief in Iranian (and maybe Islamic?) mysticism, which says before our brithday God got our permission. (Rumi and Hafez has mentioned it in their poems as Alast/عهد الست ) I don't know this is true or not, but I like these kind of stories. I guess before my brithday I was discussing with God "So when will you send me to the earth? I'm really bored hear. :| " :D
But sometimes, when I feel misery, when I feel I'm lost, when I can't understand why I'm alive or what's the meaning of these much of commotion between humans, when I feel I can't understand what is wrong and what is right, or when I wonder is there any certain truth in the life?, when I see human beings difficulties. I really wish I wouldn't be born.
Hafez is right when says: به حکم بلا بستهاند عهد الست....
I will pretend to be brave and choose to live! What a question Elina, it's not like we would have another place to go! So all in all, it depends, if I don't choose to come to this life, where would I go? Where would I be? Or do you mean, Would I choose to exist?! You can't ask this question to someone who doesn't exist!
I say, living like someone who pretends that he/she doesn't exist, is better than not existing at all! Or, is this called lying? Argh life and it's questions! Here is another thing, aren't we all heroes because we are enduring life?!!
First off, we don't have a choice. Besides, it's not up to me. It's up to the Lord. I was put on this earth to glorify Him, and therefore I shall do so by His strength and with a heart set free.
“You are born on this Earth once every few hundred or few thousand years so that you may work with many types of people in new circumstances to refine your soul further. Life on this Earth is not necessarily filled with good experiences, but before you were born, you all knew this.”
