It depends on what kind of lesson you prefer: with a professional teacher you can expect them to help you thoroughly during your studies, they usually provide a structured course and they have an internationally-recognised certification for teaching a certain language.

Instead, if you choose to study with a so-called "Community tutor" you can't expect them to prepare a lesson in advance.

Language partners are great if you some practise for free provided that you are willing to help them with your mother tongue.

It really depends on how much you can/want to spend and on your personal needs :)
