reza, Moscow (and to some extent, Russia in general... but with significant difference) is one of the fastest and cheapest places in this respect.
100 Mbps for some 15 US$ a month is qute typical, with lower prices when our currency exchange rate had fell but providers still hadn't adapted. My ISP had 95M down/95M up + Digital TV for these money. I pay lesser money... and i don't remember my speed. It's more than enough for me.

Download speeds are about 30 Mb/s and I have no restriction on use. On a good day the speed goes up to about 35Mb/s.
Well, actually, there is a clause about 'fair use' so if you started downloading hundreds of films every day then the company might complain!
But I never reach any kind of 'limit' as I don't do much downloading of movies. I use the net about 8 hours a day mainly for teaching and learning.
first thanks everyone for sharing the Ideas and for making useful comments, unfortunetly, the internet speed in my country is not fast like other western or asian countries,it makes us angry because we often have a problem when we are going to make a video call with people around the world and It prevents to communicate easily or watch Tvs around the world on the internet, although Iranian ministers promised to solve the problems, the internet speed also is different from a place to another place but the best speed is nearly 450 kb/sec for download and the best internet speed can be sold almost 2 or 3 mb, and the price for this kind of internet is not fair, God bless us! :)
As to internet, you are wrong) It brought to reality things that we could not imagine, not just unbelievable. no one expected this. Just name me one old sci-fi author who described modern internet (and our activities within in) close to reality. I don't think, we have seen all that the Internet and digital revolition can bring. I think, it all has jsut started, that we live in a funny time etc.
May be it is as great and as unpredictable as writing (unlike, for example weaponry that was predicatable). And well, in 20 century modern mass-communication, transportation etc. brought about a few totalitarian regimes. just hope humanity will avoid whatever ugly may be born out of the IT as well)
