은, 는, 이, 가
I've looked at different sources from videos to explanations on when and how to use these. But I have only slightly understood when and how to use 은 and 는. 이 and 가 still have me confused on how they are used and what their purpose in a sentence is.
Usage of +은/는, +이/가 and +을/를
+은/는 and +이/가 are for a subject. Usually, Korean people use +은/는 but if you want to make a point, then you can use +이/가. Actually, in real life, Korean people don't assort thoes that much. But the usage's difference is like that. Therefore, it's up to you
나는 미국 사람이다. - I am an American.
내가 미국 사람이다. - I am the American.
+을/를 is for an object. That's easy to understnad I guess.
나는 콜라를 좋아한다. - I like coke.
I hope my explanation is helpful to you :)
Hi Dia -
Ive just started learning about markers myself. My teacher gave me this reference page:

l1l9.pdf?c_id=1552135&expiration=1434162169&hwt=6204e24371486e3caf9981a0e51b40d8
For more explanation, check this page out- particularly page 3 because it explains the nuances that each
topic marker carries and how best to use them.
