do you get annoyed if people here have fake, random or no profile picture at all?

just a simple question. do you like to talk and interact with people who have a real photo of themselves as a profile picture or it dosent matter to you?

 

when i get a message or reply to my comment or any other kind of interaction with anybody here, first thing i notice is the profile picture. not to evaluate asthetic qualities of the person but if there is some random stuff as a profile picture or no picture at all, it seems....ummm...strange to me. i feel like i am talking to nobody.

 

its just my opinion though, i want to know what other people think.

You know some people are not interested in sharing their photos with a large number of people who they don`t know

It doesn't bother me at all. What people write is of more importance to me than their profile pic.

At first, I was not sure if I should post my photo because I was concerned that I might get too many responses from young single women. :)

But that didn't happen... So, I needn't have worried about it at all :)

 

Surely I don't have to explain that what I wrote above was written in jest... just for fun... do I?

I agree with Spangola. What I do find annoying is messages that just say "Hi!". There may be all kinds of quite respectable reasons for people not wishing to let everybody see their picture - those cited by Hassan among them.

And in my experience you tend to find out quite quickly whether the person behind the profile is somebody you'd like to get to know better or not. A very kind Polish man has been teaching me for months now over skype. He's reliable, nice, funny and conscientious - and I can say all of that without ever having seen his face, imagine! Just think of what I'd have missed if I'd insisted on seeing his photo first.

Am a real girl of course, but i cant put my photo coz it's from my religion to cover my face "Hejab".
