Ice Town.

Every winter here in Novosibirsk (Siberia) every winter we have an Ice Town built we a city of ice;  It is a kind of a park on the on built by the riverside, with buildings and different figures made out of transparent from translucent 1 ice.  These structures are , with illumination illuminated in the evening. There're also are slides and mazes there, too and it's a great entertainment for the kids.

Living in Los Angeles we are too hot for any ice sculptures.  Even in winter we can tan on the beaches.  Today's temperature is in the 80s. (Farenheit, or 26.6C).  We just have lighted decorations in certain major areas of the town - Hollywood.  However there are neighbourhoods that will outdo their neighbours in putting up amazing Christmas decorations.  This also means heavy traffic on an otherwise quiet neighbourhood.

What kind sort 2 of Christmas entertainments are practiced do you have in your country?

1.  Transparent means see through.  Translucent is semi-transparent.  Ice can never be transparent like glass.  Even glasses when too thick cannot be transparent, just translucent.

2.  I don't like repeating words if there are alternatives.
