People who oppose this law claim that it is not humanitarian to force the old to retire if they have great affection for their jobs. However, looking from the big picture, we have to acknowledge that this law do make sense. First, people who has already stepped into old age is no longer fit for the job physically and mentally. Their movements will be slowed down uncontrollably so that they work they can do will be limited. It is difficult for them to guarantee the quality of their work for their reaction is not as swift as it used to be. Second, since more and more young prople graduate from school, the job demands will soar. The old have to make room for these new blood flowing into the society. Making room for young people is not only because they need a chance to make a living but also because the company needs these engergetic and ambitious people to lead it into the current trend and create more values. People over 60 or 65, no matter in Asia or western countries, cannot resist the trend to give way to younger generation, because the old are no longer fit for the job while the young are ready to lead a new world.
