The meteorite crash, a Story told by my Kindergarten Teacher, an Eyewitness.
My kindergarten teacher lives in a village near Chelyabinsk where the meteorite fell, four days ago. She goes to Chelyabinsk every two days for medical therapy for her foot pains.
She was on the street, when she saw a spot shining in the sky. It had a smoke or steam trail like an airplanes have, but much wider. Then, there was a blinding flash and two powerful explosions lasting two or three minutes. She was scared. Her first thought was "it is a war". She heard window glass breaking. She saw shop door on the first floor tearing from its hinges. She wanted to call to her relatives, but the phone line was down.
People were in panic. But it lasted just a few minutes, then people rushed to schools and kindergartens. She took a bus, and all the passengers were telling her about what it was, and where it landed, and who was wounded. and where was broken, who and how was wounded.
Fortunately, my teacher and her relatives were okay. Just one window was broken in her sister's cottage and a balcony of her friend's flat was teared down.
Everyone rushed to buy polyethylene for the first time, because it is a real winter there and the temperature reaches minus 20 degrees Celsius.
After the scare, all the people thought that it could have been worse and that they are lucky. They are lucky to be alive, and they are lucky to become eyewitnesses of a rare cosmic event.
Good job! Just remember to use "the" and "a/an" before your nouns.
I saw plenty of videos of the crash. It looks very scary, and saddening.
