ヴォジャノーイ

 ロシアのヴォジャノーイは日本の河童のようでしょうね。(You can also say like this ;河童に相当(そうとう)するでしょうね。)水の中に住んでいます。水の精です。ヴォジャノーイはゴーグル(みたいな)目があって魚の尾(→尾びれ)のあるおじいさん。緑色の口ひげと(あご)ひげがあります。大きい魚や丸木(→丸太)や身投げや子供や馬に変形することができます。(Sorry, I could not make out the meaning of 身投げ in this context.  )人魚やウンディーネなどの(→など)水の中に住んでいるもので(→ものは、)ヴォジャノーイが元締めをしています。(another suggestion;取り仕切っています。)湖底や川底に鯰や鯉や(コイに似た魚の)ブリームなどを飼っています。It could be better to replace 鯰 to Katakana. Because this Kanji letter is scarcely used or seen. And  ブリーム ,this name of fish is not popular in Japan, so my suggestion is like that.大抵ヴォジャノーイは親切ですが、時々悪いことをします。誰かを持って沈むことができます。(→こともあります。)ヴォジャノーイの大好きな住むところは淀(→沼?)です。(淀 this one letter can not explain kinds of water reserve. We can seen this letter in the proper names of Japanese districts like 淀川区)

Very  interesting
