I took my first English speaking lesson, interesting and exiting(part one)
This morning, I took my first spoken (or speaking) English lesson. Great experience!
I arose at 6:50am, my partner is an American girl. the lesson should begin at 7:00am for me. It’s 6:00pm at American time.
I went to sleep too late last night. I went to my colleague’s house and we watched a new American series called “Breaking Bad." It has been so long since I have watched an American series, and it’s an interesting story, so when I got back home, it was almost 11 o’clock at night.
Because of thinking about getting up two hours earlier than usual, I didn’t sleep very well. I dreamed that my partner let me watch a video about her and her boyfriend’s daily life, and I told her in my dream that I wanted to exercise (or practice) my English speaking, not just listen or watch a video like this. ”Miss Wang’s lesson is much better than you, I will go for her!” Who is Miss Wang? I don’t know either. :) What a weird dream. In Chinese culture, people always said that dreams are opposite of the reality. The fact proves they are right.
Our lesson was from 7:10am-7:40am. Because it’s the first lesson, so I chose 30 minutes to try it(I don’t know how to say...(cont'd)
We usually spell out smaller numbers. We never (ever!) call it oral English, always spoken English.
