ھنستے دلوں میں غم بھی ہیں

مسکراتی اٌنکھیں کبھی نم بھی ہیں

 دعا کرتے ہیں آپ کی ہنسی کبھی نہ  رُکے

کیونکہ  آپ کی مسکراہٹ کے دیوانے ہم بھی ہیں

 
Romanization:-

Hanste dilon mein ghum bhe hain,

Muskarati aankhen kabhi nam bhe hain,

Duaa kartay hain aap ki hansi kabhi na rukay,

Kyunkay aapki muskurahat kay deewanay hum bhe hain.

As poetry contains more than only one meaning, so i'll try to present tashreeh(background or figurative meanings) and translation(in urdu => tarjumah, in general sense "literal meaning")

Translation:-

Cheering hearts has sorrow in them,

Smiling eyes seldom fills with tears,

We pray you never stop smiling,

Because we love when you smile. 

 =>> That's just translation which doesn't makes any sense or gives any logical meanings.

Tashreeh:-

My Heart is filled with sorrow,my smiling eyes have tears in them all because smile is just on the face when people are around otherwise i am in sorrow and have great displeasure. But i pray you never stop smiling because i love you but when you smile i love you more.
