Nude beach, okay or not? Human is the only animal who get dressed mainly to cover their reproductive organs. But some people do not care, they are thrying to push governments to grant a piece of beach as a 'paradise of nudist'. This motives has caused a debate on the internet across China. I am not interested in this topic. I always hold an opinion that everyone has the right to satisfy themselves as long as do not affect other people's freedom. If they can find a quiet place and impose strict child-free rule, it is non of my business. However, the fact is that once a segment of beach chosen occupied by nudes, there definitely will cause disturbance to its neighbourhood. Unlike western culture, sex has been a taboo since the beginning of Chinese civilization. Perhaps by this means, emperors managed to suppress their countrymen's sense of freedom. It is not until two decades ago, people started to become more open minded toward sex freedom. And as a result, it is a common sight now to see scanty covered women walking on streets. The suggested nude beach sits in one of China's southmost coastal city named Sanya, where many luxury hotels situate along the seaside. Although the world Miss competition has been held in there several times, the locals are still very conservative in their mind. Some people there will surely connect nudity with obscene exposure. Furthermore, many men do not understand respecting women, owing to their long tradition of men chaovinism. And as such, it might attract some perverts to use nudism as an excuse to sexually harass women. Meanwhile, the nude beach can also provide a place to do the still illigal sex trade, even cause the rise of sex crimes. So, even if this nude beach is finally approved, it will end up with a filthy place which is full of naked males and a small number of prostitudes. From what I mentioned above, it is not a good idea in China to establish a beach of nudity. For the sake of social stability, it should be delayed until the local men know how to respect women.
