Special thanks! Hi. It's been such a long time since I last wrote a notebook here! I want to talk about a person whom I don't even know his full name! He's an online friend of mine whom I found on Interpals. He's a Korean 23 year-old boy who've grown up in America and is currently living in Australia. I messaged him and asked if he could help me to improve my Korean, and he kindly accepted my request. If I were about to write a book of my experience in learning Korean language, on the first page I'd write "Special thanks to Gyun Oppa" !! :D Usually we send each other one message per day, but this one message has helped me a lot so far! Making simple sentences had become so much simpler for me and I've learned so many colloquial phrases and words through these short conversations. He even made me tell him about the ancient land of Persia! Wow, it was the longest message I wrote for him and he didn't find any mistakes in my sentences! *pure happiness* haha. When I fail to write the right sentence or time I don't know how to say a particular word or sentence, he corrects me and writes the right form. This has helped me so far. It's a fact that talking to native speakers, makes you more and more skilled in the new language you're learning. It's helped me to learn the right formations and even made me learn new words in order to say what I really want to say. I'm so weak in English when it comes to speaking in front of others. It's not like I'm shy or anything. It's because I have never talked to people in English before! I never took classes for English and it's the major reason for not being able to talk in front of others. I forget the words, I form childish sentences and even make myself laugh! I'm trying to overcome this and I'm also trying my best not to let this happen to my Korean! It'd be so bad if this ever goes for my Korean, too! I really love learning new languages, and my goal for each language is "perfection", being truly fluent! I haven't reached my goal for English, but I hope to make it happen. I hope so...
