今天是星期五。 我到去了房子的朋友的家。我们在喝茶。
jīntiān xīngqīwǔ。 wǒ qù le fángzi de péngyǒu。 wǒmen hēchá。
Today is Friday. I went to my friend's house. We drank tea.

Cultural notes...

1.  You need to have 是 otherwise it is a phrase and you cannot have the period there.  A comma is used instead if you want it as a phrase.

2. 房子 can also mean a room!  This way is clearer.  Your "house" is used figuratively to mean "home".  This is ok in English but not in Chinese as the literal meaning is taken.

3.  我们喝茶 = we drank tea.  This is literal.  In English, you are using figuratively.  Hence my way of correction.  Technically it means, "We had tea", literally, "We were at tea"

今天（是）星期五。 我去了房子的朋友（朋友的房子或者家（jiā)（home））。我们(一起）喝茶。
jīntiān（shì) xīngqīwǔ。 wǒ qù le fángzi de péngyǒu(péng yǒu de fáng zǐ）。 wǒmen（yī qǐ))hēchá。
Today is Friday. I went to my friend's house. We drank tea.

notice:

1.In Chinese , the sentence Must be contained inside a sentence subject, predicate, object ,in which as same as English .

1.1 Hence, like you writing ” 今天星期五“ 。 the sentence was short of predicate . so  , you should be add " 是 ( is )” . the sentence is right .

2. 我去了房子的朋友：the sentence ，Jeff modified  was right . I  agree with her. so I will not repeat it.

3.我们喝茶：to be honest. the sentence is right .  if I  said above 1. the sentence  was complete. but 

Chinese used to modifer , while English used to realism. this maybe  was made you puzzled . haha.

我们（一起）喝茶，一起（yī qǐ）（together）is a modifier.

加油（ jiā yóu） is mean come on。
