Baby Boom On last Tuesday evening, I watched a tv series called Baby boom on the first Fŕench channel (TF1) . It's a series of documentaries about the everyday life of a maternity hospital. This year, the TV team shot the season in Marseille. In each episode, we follow three or four deliveries. Every time, I'm very moved by these slices of life. In the latest episode, there was a young couple of lovers who was expecting their first child. They had difficulties to have a baby. So they were about to use the assisted reproduction technology but the young woman became pregnant just before the first appointment with the doctor. Another couple was expecting their fifth baby. The husband wore the tshirt of the Marseille soccer team. It was ugly - you know what I mean wear a football tee-shirt to play soccer is Ok but in the every day life this is not very elegant. He explained he had worn this tee-shirt for every birth, it was in fact like a lucky charm. The third couple had broken up since the beginning of the pregnancy. But they were both here to welcome the baby and ready to take care together of him. What impressed me on that episode were the fathers. They were different from each other but so helpful and tactfuĺ during the labor of the mother. Their emotion and their pride of being father were very pleasant to see.

Baby Boom

On last Tuesday evening, I watched a tv series show [you can say tv series but it makes it sound like you watched every episode] called Baby boom on the first Fŕench channel (TF1) . It's a series of documentaries about the everyday life of in a maternity hospital. This year, the TV team shot the season in Marseille. In each episode, we follow three or four deliveries. Every time, I'm very moved by these slices of life.
In the latest episode, there was a young couple of lovers who was were expecting their first child. They had difficulties to have in having a baby. So they were about to use the assisted reproduction technology but the young woman became pregnant just before the first appointment with the doctor. Another couple was expecting their fifth baby. The husband wore the tshirt of the Marseille soccer team. [Very good work! Most of my edits were to give it a more natural flow but are not necessary.]
