a short story : butcher's We had been driving for four hours when we saw the sign for a small hotel and decided to stop. Nobody was around and it was so quiet. The owner greeted us happily but I can swear I saw something strange in his look. We were so tired that we decided to go to sleep immediately. At midnight my friend Annie was sleeping like a log but I woke up because my stomach was rumbling so I decided to take a look in the small fridge. I didn't even turn on the lights and when I opened it at first I didn't even realize what was in those small plastic bags, but at a second look I saw a finger with a red polished nail. All the plastic bags contained parts of a human body and I began to tremble, I was shocked and terrified. I woke up Annie and we quickly packed up all our stuff. We ran away from that horrible place. We drove for about eight hours and never stopped until we arrived at our destination.
