Mid-Autumn Festival

According to Chinese mythology, the earth once had 10 suns circling over around it. <em>(they clearly had no idea of the earth orbiting a sun, did they - they probably thought the suns orbited the earth instead, or they had flat-earth theories 哈哈)</em> One day, all 10 suns appeared together, scorching the earth with their heat. The earth was saved when a strong archer, Hou Yi, succeeded in shooting down 9 of the suns <em>(where did the suns fall to?  Any thinking child would surely ask such question!  Nowadays they would say 'spare me the corny fairy-stories dad, I have calculus homework to do!)</em>. Yi stole the elixir (what elixir, where did the elixir come from?) to save the people, but his wife, Chang-E drank it. (I'll bet she came to a sad end! Now she has a Chinese lunar lander to keep her company)
