Conversations about K-pop
Most foreigners talking to me bring up a topic <em>about</em> related to K-pop, especially if they are girls. I like listening to music and watching music shows on TV or the internet, so I feel they are on the same wave-length.
There are many K-pop idols I like such as EXO, Big Bang, <em>and</em> Winner, IU, A-pink, <em>and</em> Super Junior and so forth. Listening to my favorite singers' music picks me up when I feel down; watching music shows is <em>another</em> also fun because their performances or costumes are usually different <em>most of the time</em> in each show.
Once in a while, people from other countries seem to know <em>better than me</em> more about the K-pop singers than I do. It's surprising that <em>how</em> they keep themselves up to date with the latest K-pop news. I don't check celebrity news very often unless it becomes a big issue, so sometimes it gives me an uncanny feeling when I find out that they are not in Korea, but <em>they</em> still have their finger on the pulse of K-pop, <em>which is better</em> even more than domestic people.
