Debt culture: Should credit cards have warning labels? Credit cards are in our daily routine and day by day they increase their role in our life. In the last ten years we saw effects of over debt in both family, enterprise and country. Most of people that pay by credit card don't really feel as they had spent money, so they keep spending money that they had not earned yet. I mean credit cards are not evil and I'm not against them but nobody has taught how to use them and how they work. When we subscribe a new credit card they give us the terms and conditions but how many read all of that? How many really understand what's on that? I think that the same way schools teach real life subject, like sex education, they have to teach credit card use, dos and don'ts. How many people use credit cards with fixed monthly payments taking no care about how high are their total debt? Knowing how to take care about your debt could tell you when it would be better getting a personal loan with a lower APR. I think that should be helpful for families if credit card companies were in duty bound to write pro and con at same size and page but main problem is the lack of education about them. It should be a sort of "credit licence" a so odd idea?
