<em>Che</em> cosa è 'mi raccomando'?

"<em>Mi raccomando</em>" can be roughly translated by "<em>I'm counting on the fact that you will..</em>"; it's normally followed by the imperative form

- <em>Mi raccomando, sii puntuale.</em> (counting on the fact that you will be punctual)

- <em>Mi raccomando, ricordati quello che ti ho detto.</em> (counting on the fact that you will remember his/her words)
- <em>Mi raccomando, portati qualche felpa perché ci sarà brutto tempo.</em> (counting on the fact that you will bring along a couple of sweatshirts)
