Well, I want to talk about the traditional costume of the North "Rif" (it's off a bit here but I'm not sure how you mean so I can't correct it) what name the mountain clothes "Jbala clothes" . There are many who maintain ("maintain" fits but I think the best word for this may be "continue" to wear these types of clothes. It's really a wonderful costume and it's very beautiful . They wear what's like a skirt: (I think a colon works here, at least) it's a piece of cloth stripes of (I may be wrong, but I feel it reads a bit better like that) red and white. It's name in the language of this region "Atazir" and they also wear "Melhaf": (not sure about colon) it's a white piece of cloth put on the shoulders,in addition to a big cup with beautiful colors. Also, the shoes name " Balgha" made by skin patterned (not right, but not sure what you mean to correct it). The rural women are really wonderful :) and I hope to try this dress someday despite the fact I'm not from the north :)
