"Don’t bite off more than you can chew"
Yesterday, I was reading some English idioms and I stopped on this one "Don’t bite off more than you can chew".
The meaning is " don't do a lot more that you are able to do."
I was thinking that there are some people who have just one aim in their lives and they work a lot to get it until the end. And finally, they learn so much about it, they also they become an expert on that subject.
But also there are other people that like to do too many things. For example, they want to learn many languages at the same time. Today they want to study about Medicine and tomorrow about Spanish Literature. Does that mean this person doesn't have any objectives in their life or they just want to increase their knowledge.
The question is : Is it better to know a lot of things about just one thing or know a bit about a lot of things (?)
Share with me your opinion.
Thanks,
Laila :)

Do one thing well! Bits and pieces of many things only helps a little.
