What are the advantages and disadvantages of living with parents? I would like to say that living at home with parents has many advantages. The obvious advantage to living with parents is the money that you save. Living on your own is not that cheap. Let me give you an example of what I mean. When I was staying in Australia, I spent most money on living cost. I could not save up money economically. And also I had to do everything by myself such as doing laundry, cleaning, cooking for meals and so on. On the contrary, living with family offers us the lack of independence. While offering a great comfort and stability, presumably, we could not turn into true adults. Independence is very important thing for our rest of life. We need to learn to make a daily plan for ourselves, to have things put into order, to make ourselves time to prepare something to eat, to go shopping and pay bills. Although it is not so easy to living on our own, it is sometimes worth living to improve the sense of responsibility and to have strong ability to maintain our livelihood.
