Je n'ai pas passé assez de temps dehors cet été. J'ai été coincé à l'intérieur parce que j'ai dû préparer mon CV et mes applications d'emploi pendant 3 semaines. J'espère bientôt pouvoir m'échapper. (I hope I can escape soon. is that what you meant?)

ps : "préparer mon CV et mes applications". If  "CV" is in the singular form and "applications" in the plural form, you must use an article again to specify it, this is why I added "mes" to your sentence. Not using the article in front of applications means that your sentence would be the equivalent of "mon CV et mon applications" which is impossible since "mon" is a singular form. hope it's clear :).
