In the past I used PayPal to pay for my lessons. This time I want to use bank transfer instead.
Does anyone use this option for payment? To set up a bank transfer with my bank, I like to make sure that italki can identify the amount (transferred) is specifically for my account. Italki sent me some "generic answer" which was not very helpful.
How do I accomplish this?

That sounds overly complex and possibly dangerous.

If you don't want to use paypal (which I can understand), another option is to buy cash giftcards at the supermarket (Visa and Mastercard make them), and use them like credit cards to buy lessons.

This is very secure and easy to do. 
All major supermarkets sell them now.
