start learning from around urself.
learn the things which u use frequently/everyday. For example, if u goto work, try learning or knowing as much as u can from ur surroundings... that will make learning easy for u because u will get to use them everyday...

@nooni gives great advice—vocabulary is very important when beginning to learn a language as it at least gives you words fill the 'bulk' of your sentences. Pronunciation, especially in English, can wait until a little later as long as your sentences make sense, but work to improve along the way :)
Another thing that my students say they find helpful is simply becoming familiar with the alphabet/letters by reading simple books and such in English. When I started learning Japanese a while back, I ignored learning the vocabulary at first just to spend time mastering the "alphabet" (Hiragana/Katakana) before moving on to Kanji.
Keep working hard and it will get easier!
