" It's a drag..........." What does "it's a drag" mean ? Could you help ?
Here is a sentence :
"Yeah. It’s a drag when the weekend is over and you feel like you haven’t relaxed at all."
What does "it's a drag " mean here ? How do you use it in your daily conversation. Could you show me how to use it ? Thank you.
It's a drag means "it's not good". You can also say "it's a bummer". Maybe a more precise definition would be "it's distressing or unpleasing".
It's a drag when teachers give you homework for the weekend.

Being dragged is when you are not wanting to move (maybe you are tired) yet something ors someone is forcing you to go. It is uncomfortable, unenjoyable, unpleasant and you do not want it this way. You are sluggish about it and unenthused.
