Anne - "sincerity" not sincerety. The words "truth and candor (openess)" are two simple synonyms (word that mean the same thing or very similar). In my experience, it takes a long time to know if someone is sincere or truthful. We get to know someone better and better as time goes by, and as we share more and more experiences with them. In the beginning of a relationship everyone behaves well, but as time goes by they may change. Trust is something that must be earned, so start by trusting a little, and trust more and more as the person proves again and again, that they are consistently trustworthy and sincere.
