Korean Grammar help! Present and future tense.
Can someone explain thoroughly how make korean sentences in "present" tense? (informally to a friend)
For example, "I am eating" or "I am going to ____."
Also, the "future" tense too! (informally)
For example, "I am going to/will eat." or "I will go to ____."

1) the present progressive form
~(하)고 있다.
I am eating fried chicken = 나는 치킨을 먹고 있다.(basic form)
To your friend, you can say "나 지금 치킨 먹고 있어."(I'm eating fried chicken now)
2) future tense
I am going to eat fried chicken later. "나 이따가 치킨 먹을거야."
As I've written above, you'd better say with an adverbs of time like 지금(now),이따가(later),저녁에 (in the evening) and 7시에 (at 7 o'clock) and so on.
