It's an expression of acknowledgement. It's not exactly "you're welcome", but close.

it's usually intended as a reply to 'thank you' meaning, "of course", "no problem", or "no biggie". At least that's how I use it. :) I am not sure how others in other countries use it though, so let's wait for other replies. :)
