아무나 and 아무도 아무나 means "anybody" and is used in positive sentences. 아무도 also means "anybody" but is used in negative sentences. In English, I would say this means "nobody". 맞아요? 1) So, if I say 아무도 몰라요, that literally means "anybody I do not know" or more naturally in English, "I do not know anyone" or "I know nobody". In other words, I can not literally translate 아무도 to "nobody". 맞아요? It is just the word "anybody" used in negative sentences. 2) Can I use 아무도 as a one word answer to a question? 누가 있어요? 아무도.
