Easy to talk "law' in Chinese means "法律"，France is short for “法兰西共和国”,like America,we can not say "country of beautiful "

I don't think France in Chinese means "country of law"
" France " we translated it into Chinese (according to the pronunciation) "法兰西" ，and its full name is "法兰西共和国" ，so in China,we use "法国" for short .
