what does "coin a phrase" mean? can you give some examples? at the start of the new school year, two girls are talking about another girl's not-so-nice dress(the girl is single). one of the 2 girls says: Ahh, find a man, coin a phrase.It’s a busy year.

"To coin" in this example means to create something usable (eg. currency).
