It means more 'bump into again'. You don't really say croiser or recroiser if the meeting was planned. For this reason, I usually only say it if I randomly meet an acquaintance in town and say that we'll bump into each other again. Or if I say that I bumped into someone two times. 1. « Hey ça va ? -Bien et toi ? -Bien merci. Passe une bonne journée ! -Merci, toi aussi ! Je suis sur qu'on se recroisera un de ces quatre ! » 2. « À midi j'ai croisé mon ancien prof de sport à la poste, et à 4 heures je l'ai recroisé à la gare. »
