What does desmenuzada mean? It is a spanish word and I would like to know the meaning please.

ok. "desmenuzada" is usually applied to food. is like when you have some soft meat (just like fish or chicken), and you separate it into little pieces, not by cutting it with a knife or something, but separating it by the fibers. the result, you will have "carne desmenuzada"

when you cut a piece of meat in many small chunks, what you get is " carne desmenuzada" . Not at all

LOL! that's one of the most weird and uncommon words you'll ever bump into... The verb "desmenuzar" (from which you get the adjective "desmenuzada") is usually applied to food (as the other guy said), it means to crumble, to flake, to shred... in other words, to separate some kind of meat in pieces using your fingers.
