National sensibility and national sentiment? Does national sensibility mean the love/affection to their nation, but national sentiment mean the national emotion/attitude towards something?? Thank you.

yes, I guess that needs more context to well describe these two coined terms.

Both of these terms are vague and can have different meanings depending on speaker and context. Sensibility generally has to do with how sensitive people are to an issue, while sentiment has more to do with their opinions. An example of national sensibility is demonstrated by the outrage against gun violence in the US. However sentiment is strongly divided on the question of how this issue should be addressed.

National sensibility refers to an acute perception of or responsiveness by a nation's population towards something. It can also be associated with sentimental moral philosophy. National sentiment refers to people's patriotism and loving their culture and traditions.
