What are some standard greetings in Arabic? How are they pronounced and written?

"السلام عليكم" = ( assalam alaik ) is a special greeting to Muslims !
the answer is "وعليكم السلام" = ( wa alaikom salam )

You're welcome. They're written in the same way, but the difference is that you read it with "tashkeel" or not.

hello = ahlan = اهلا
how are you = kaif halek ? = كيف حالك
the most used word " salam " or salam aleykom " means peace
good morning = صباح الخير = sabah el kheir
good evening = مساء الخير = masa el khair
good night = ليلة سعيدة = leyla saida
i am fine and you = انا جيد وا انت = ana jeyed wa ant
whats your name = ما هو اسمك = mahowa ismek
how old are you = كم هو عمرك = kom omrek
my name is .... = اسمي هو ... = esmi howa ..

u can say: assalam alaykom- every time
sabah lkhair = good morning
masa lkhair= good evening
tosbeh ala khair= good night 4 sing male
tosbho ala kair= god night 4 plur male&fem
tosbhi ala khair=good night 4 sing fem
note: ther r some difernt between daily& clasic accent

Thank you so much. But some people say "haloka" not "halak".. and "kheer" instead of "khair".. are both correct or are "haloka" and "kheer" incorrect?
