What's the difference between 'sociable party' and 'social party'? He often takes part in sociable parties to make more friends. He often takes part in social parties to make more friends. Is there any difference between 'sociable party' and 'social party'? Thank you.

I've never heard the phrase "sociable party." Sociable usually applies to an individual. A sociable person is friendly and outgoing. If you're referring to a gathering of friends then social party is correct, but most would just call it a party.
