How do I pronounce the German 'g' at the end of a word?
I am a bit confused on how to pronounce the German 'g' at the end of words. Do I always pronounce it as 'k' or are there exceptions?

Hello,
The letter G is pronounced as /K/ at the end of a word. This is called "Auslautverhärtung".
Likewise:
D > T: Hand, Wand, Lnad
B> P: Lob, lieb, Sieb
With colloquial German, the ending -ig is pronounced like : "ich"

The ending -ig (for adjectives) is difficult, sometimes it's pronounced as more or less soft k or hard g, somtimes it's pronounced as -ich. Even native speakers don't agree on the pronounciation, and it varies from region to region :-)
I think in all other cases it's pronounced as soft k/hard g. In general, voiced consonants at the end and beginning of a word tend to be pronounced hard and nearly voiceless.

Often you pronounce it as "sich"
